I'm sharing with you an adorable Paper Doll Quilt
my little daughter received for Christmas.
A  beautiful Keepsake Quilt made by Grandma!
A Quilt that serves to keep you warm and entertained!
The fabrics are from Windham/Paper Dolls by Sheryl Rae Marquez

The back of the quilt includes a large pocket for all the
 Paper Doll Clothes and Accessories.
The doll clothes are made with a lining that keep the doll clothes in place on the quilt.
We keep the clothes in a zip lock bag.
The quilt goes everywhere around the house.

Every Little Paper doll is adorable!
My little daughter has so much fun dressing the paper dolls and changing their outfits.
I do too!

This Paper Doll is my daughter's favorite!

I am sharing with you some of my favorite Nativity's that I love and appreciate, because my children can play and TOUCH! They are all Hand made by crafters from craft fairs! The last Nativity shown is one Grandma Lynna made for our family a few years ago! I am also including a poem that I think is so cute for many occasions! This poem makes a great handout! I put M&M's in clear plastic gift bags tied to a star ornament! We have used them for YW girls and Primary!
The Christmas Story
As you hold these candies in your hand,
And turn them, you will see,
The M becomes a W, an E and then a 3.
They tell the Chistmas story,
It's one I'm sure you know,
It took place in a stable.
A long, long time ago
The E is for the East, where the star shone so bright.
The M is for the Manger, where baby Jeses slept that night.
The 3 is for the Wise men, bearing gifts, they say they came.
The W is for Worship, Halleleujah, Praise His name.
So as you eat these candies, or share them with a friend,
Remember the meaning of Christmas, It's love story that never ends
Merry Christmas!

Another great creation from Grandma! Brianna received an "I Spy Bag" in her church bag with her "Gospel ABC Book" last year for Christmas. She loves it! This one is so cute with all Christmas contents inside!

Together, Grateful, and Blessed! Thank you Lynna, I'm grateful for you!

A sweet countdown to Christmas from Grandma!
How many days till Christmas?
It's mighty hard to count
so in the bag there's kisses
to show the exact amount!
each evening when goodnights are said
enjoy a sweet kiss and hop into bed
when you unwrap the final kiss
tomorrow will be Christmas!

Every year my children will receive a hand-made ornament tied on top of their Christmas present from their Grandmother. I am always excited to see what their ornament will be each year, as well as what's inside, because it's usually hand made also! These are a sampling of some of the adorable ornaments that my children have received over the years! I have decorated many trees with these cute ornaments! Thank you Grandma, we love and appreciate you!

life is good said...
Dear Mrs. Deck The Halls
I need an Ornament made from fabric for our Quilt Group Christmas Party. We are doing an ornament exchange. Do you have any ideas?

I hope I have given you some ideas that you can use for your quilt group or ideas that will inspire you! Love, "Deck The Halls-Christmas"

This idea came from the creative craft room of Lynna Hall! Brianna has loved this cute little "ABC" Book from her Grandma Lynna! I have also cherished this gift! Lynna made each grandchild from baby to eight years of age a "ABC" Gospel Book along with a "I spy" rice bag and laminated pass along cards paper punched on a ring! She put all these contents in to small colored canvas bags with embroidered "My Church Bag". We have loved taking this little bag to church! It's a great Gift! These are a few samples from Brianna's book!

This was one of my favorite gifts for family, friends, neighbors, grandmothers, teachers or anyone that likes to cook! I made aprons! If you don't want to sew them, you can purchase canvas aprons at Michael's Craft Store! I found my pattern off of a Debbie Mumm apron panel from Walmart! I had so much fun making these aprons, my kids decided they wanted one also!

Inside the pockets of the aprons, I put recipe cards, cookie cutters, candy canes, Hot Cocoa mix, mixing spoons, measuring spoons, hot pads or towels, recipe book, and the Christmas recipe (shown below) rolled up with a bow around it! There are so many ideas of what you can put in the pockets! These are just a few!
